What is ProMat 2027?

ProMat 2027 is a dynamic conference hosted by Material Handling Industry (MHI) for professionals to explore cutting-edge solutions, network with industry leaders, and gain industry insights that will help them take their careers to the next level. This global expo, hosted in North America annually, features hundreds of exhibitors demonstrating the latest advancements in warehouse automation, robotics, and logistics solutions that are set to revolutionize the warehousing industry over the years to come.

Trust us, the show floor at ProMat offers an array of groundbreaking technologies, innovative products, and expert-led sessions that provide a glimpse into the evolving landscape of the industry. When and Where is ProMat 2027?

Marking a historic change, Promat 2027 will be the first edition of the show to run for three days instead of four, creating a more concentrated event experience designed to maximize value for both exhibitors and attendees.

This year’s event is scheduled from April 19, 2027 – April 21, 2027, taking place at Chicago's McCormick Place - located at 2301 S Martin Luther King Dr, Chicago, IL 60616.

The show will be open each day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday. Notably, the Lakeside Hall will open each day at 9:00 AM.

ProTip: ProMat is a every other year event taking place on odd years only. While there is no ProMat 2026 or ProMat 2028, there is a ProMat sister show, Modex on even years. Get more info on the upcoming Modex 2028 taking place in Atlanta, GA.

Fun Fact: Beginning in 2028, MHI is expanding the MODEX portfolio with the debut of MODEX West in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to the traditional MODEX event in Atlanta, attendees will have a second opportunity to experience the latest supply chain and automation innovations on the West Coast.

How Much Does it Cost to Attend ProMat 2027?

It’s free! Registration gets you access to the exhibit hall, seminars, and floor education sessions. However, while there’s no cost to enter, planning your budget for the trip involves considering some secondary costs.

For those traveling to Chicago, accommodation and travel expenses can add up. It’s wise to book hotels early, as Spring is when Chicago is particularly bustling. Also, factor in your daily meals and local transportation — although ProMat provides a shuttle service between designated hotels and McCormick Place, you might opt for rideshares or public transit, which could incur additional costs.
