Kardex has appointed Jeremy Green as new Business Development Director for the UK and Ireland. The qualified construction engineer is responsible for the sales of integrated material flow systems, automated pallet high-bay warehouses and small-parts storage in the Kardex Mlog business. Green, aged 53 and a keen rugby fan, has approximately 15 years of experience in the intralogisticsand automation sector and he has previously worked for companies such as TGW and Körber. With the newly created position of Business Development Director, Kardex Mlog wants to significantly increase its market share in the UK and Ireland.
Kardex is already a market leader for vertical storage systems in the UK and Ireland. Green’s declared objective is “for Kardex to gain new customers and make a name for itself as a leading provider of pallet high-bay and small-parts storage solutions.” He considers the opportunity to develop new solutions and, at the same time, to expand the Kardex customer base as both “a challenge and a marvelous opportunity.
”The decision to make the career move to Kardex was an easy one. “I was impressed by the company’s ambitions and by the positive and friendly approach of all the Kardex people I met during the application process.”
Kardex Mlog provides stacker cranes with a height of up to 48 meters and therefore the company can implement extremely sustainable high-bay warehouses with minimal surface sealing per stored pallet. Thecompany’s offering also includes automated systems for transport of totes, trays and cartons, and it provides storage and picking solutions. Kardex Mlog is also a recognized specialist in the retrofitting of complex, automated storage facilities during ongoing operations. It does not matter whether the original plant was installed by Kardex Mlog or another provider.
