Kardex has entered into a strategic partnership with SKUTOPIA to deliver a new AutoStoreTM project in Melbourne, marking an important step forward in AI-driven warehouse performance and scalable automation.
The collaboration brings together SKUTOPIA’s robotics-powered fulfilment model and SaaS platform with Kardex expertise in high-density storage, precision handling, and integrated intralogistics systems. Together, the teams are developing a facility designed to increase throughput, enhance accuracy, and support sustained operational growth in fast-moving eCommerce and omnichannel environments.
At the core of the project is the practical application of AI to operational decision-making. From intelligent inventory placement and batching strategies to replenishment timing and exception management, the system is engineered to translate data into measurable performance on the warehouse floor.
The Melbourne development reinforces Kardex commitment to advancing intelligent automation with the latest innovations across Australia and New Zealand, while supporting SKUTOPIA’s continued expansion of its robotics-enabled fulfilment network.
