Kardex Showcases Unified Fulfillment Experience at MODEX 2026

8 April 2026, News,Company News

Kardex will return to MODEX 2026 held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, USA (Booth #C14767) to showcase a modern, unified approach to fulfillment bringing together automated solutions, guided picking, and a connected software platform designed to improve warehouse performance without adding complexity.

At this year’s event, Kardex will highlight a unified fulfillment experience, demonstrating how modular technologies, intelligent software, and integrated workflows work together to support consistent execution, scalable operations, and improved picking confidence across fulfillment environments.

A Unified Approach to Fulfillment

At MODEX 2026, Kardex will present a cohesive goods-to-person fulfillment experience that connects AutoStore systems, Vertical Lift Module Kardex Shuttles (VLMs), and software-driven workflows.

This unified approach enables operations to manage increasing SKU complexity, space constraints, and productivity demands while maintaining accuracy and consistency across processes.

Intuitive Picking Assistant: A Consistent Operator Experience

A key highlight of the Kardex booth is the Intuitive Picking Assistant (IPA); this guided picking interface is designed to improve accuracy, usability, and operator confidence.

The IPA places essential pick information directly in the operator’s field of view, using clear visual cues and compartment illumination to guide execution at the workstation. This enables operators to quickly and confidently identify correct pick locations, reducing common errors and supporting faster onboarding.

Designed with ergonomics and flexibility in mind, IPA also includes visual confirmation steps and automatic error detection, which can reduce or eliminate manual scans depending on process configuration. The interface is fully customizable, allowing operations teams to tailor prompts, colors, and instructions to match their workflows.

Importantly, IPA delivers a consistent user experience across both AutoStore and VLM Kardex Shuttle workstations, enabling operators to move between systems without learning separate interfaces. This supports cross-training, flexible staffing, and a more adaptable workforce.

Powered by the KardexOne Software Platform

At MODEX 2026, Kardex will showcase its KardexOne software platform, which connects machines, systems, and data across the warehouse to enable a more transparent, efficient, and controlled fulfillment operation.

As part of an unified software portfolio powered by the KardexOne software platform, Kardex integrates solutions such as warehouse control, material flow management, and picking workflows into a single connected environment. This allows operations to coordinate activity across different technologies while simplifying execution for operators.

By combining intelligent software with automated systems and guided picking, Kardex delivers a connected fulfillment experience that enhances visibility, improves performance, and supports scalable growth at every stage of the automation journey.
