The leadership structure at Kardex Mlog is changing step by step as part of a planned generational switch. On 31 December 2025, Hans-Jürgen Heitzer, who has led the Business Unit since 2011, will relinquish his role as Head of Kardex Mlog. As of 1 July 2025, Winnie Ahrens, Head of New Business, took on the role as Head of Business Unit jointly with Hans-Jürgen Heitzer. This is in addition to her previous role, and she now joins Hans-Jürgen Heitzer and Jochen Strauß as a member of the executive board. As of 1 January 2026, Winnie Ahrens will assume leadership of Kardex Mlog and, together with Jochen Strauß, she will make up the executive board.

Winnie Ahrens has been with Kardex Mlog for almost two years. During this time, she has played a key role in driving growth initiatives and she has made a substantial contribution to the successful ongoing development of Kardex Mlog. Kardex Mlog continues to extend its international alignment and is increasingly positioning itself as a European integrator with an extended portfolio in the area of miniload solutions.

«With this step-by-step handover, we are ensuring the seamless continuation of our successful corporate strategy and also the transfer of know-how and experience while, at the same time, we continue to develop Kardex Mlog with a view to the future», says Dr. Jens Hardenacke, CEO of Kardex. «I would like to thank Hans-Jürgen Heitzer for his tireless efforts and commitment over the past 14 years. Under his leadership, Kardex Mlog has grown to become an economically sound and extremely competitive and successful division.»
