7 October 2022, Company News

In August of this year, Managing Director Hans Boinski, Manager Sales and Project Planning Bartosz Jankowski, and Sales Manager Andrzej Michalski from Kardex Polska look back on a total of 75 years of experience in the logistics sector. The three experts have just completed their first year working in the Kardex Mlog business area, which has its own subsidiary in Poland. The wealth of experience shared by Hans Boinski, Bartosz Jankowski and Andrzej Michalski exemplifies the strategy of Kardex Mlog to fill key positions with employees who have extensive expertise.

Hans Boinski, Managing Director of Kardex Polska

Hans Boinski is the Managing Director of Kardex Polska. The industrial engineer, born in Gdynia on Poland’s Baltic coast, studied in Germany and speaks Polish, German and English. He has more than 29 years of experience in the field of transport and storage logistics, of which 24 have been spent in various management roles. In the course of his career, Mr. Boinski has worked for several German and Polish companies in the logistics industry.
Manager Sales and Project Planning Bartosz Jankowski joined Kardex Polska in August 2021. The business graduate also studied in Germany and began his career 20 years ago with a logistics service provider. He then worked his way through the different departments of an automation provider in the intralogistics sector. In his most recent role in that company, he spent eight years as a sales manager responsible for the areas of automation, storage equipment and manufacturing equipment. Mr. Jankowski communicates with his customers in Polish, German and English.

Andrzej Michalski, Sales Manager

Like his two colleagues, Andrzej Michalski began his career in the logistics sector: In 1997, immediately following his studies, he started work as an electrical engineer for a Polish integrator for logistics automation, where he remained until 2005. He then held positions at Siemens and other renowned companies in the industry. His areas of expertise include robotics, to which he also devotes much of his leisure time. Mr. Michalski was born in Poznań and, in addition to his native Polish language, he also speaks German and English.
Under the umbrella of Kardex Polska, Kardex Mlog supplies the entire range of services from consulting, sales and project planning, right through to project management, PLC programming, commissioning and maintenance. The supplier of integrated material flow systems and high-bay warehouses operates the site in Sopot jointly with the Kardex Remstar, AutoStore and Rocket Solution business areas. This is therefore the first time that the Kardex Group has offered the entire solution portfolio at a single location.
The Kardex Group has been active in Poland for more than ten years. Back in 2014, Kardex Mlog carried out its first project in the country: An automated high-bay warehouse for a German food group. This was followed by plants for Amica, TME, Bridgestone and Dan Cake. In the future, these projects and all other Polish projects can be supported and maintained locally. To make this possible, the company’s workforce in Poland has grown continually from an initial staff of 10 to currently more than 30 employees. Further expansion is to follow.
One of Kardex Mlog’s USPs is that, in addition to the construction of greenfield installations in Poland, the company also carries out refurbishments and extensions of existing plants during ongoing production operations. The company also refurbishes existing plants that have been installed by third-party providers. Within the industry, Kardex Mlog is seen as a committed development partner who can supply solution concepts that go beyond the standardized pallet sizes.
